Ink

I dreamt of you yesterday,
whenever you spoke ink appeared.
Blotches in the edge of my vision,
small black snakes slithers down your soft lips to dance around our feet.
When you kissed me, your words circled my tongue and fell down my throat to settle into my veins. Words like “irreducible” and “carnal” settle into my nerves and when I touch your cheek with a small choking sound escaping my blue lips, the ink seeps through the pores.
With a grin you take the tip of my fingers into your mouth.
The last thing I remember is a sickening crunching sound.
